Failed to find zone :: mainmenu<br /> LIGHTNING FAST RACING SERIES 2009 RULES Last Updated : 2008-12-27 17:01:44 (6520 read) [Printer friendly page | Send to a friend] General Rules and Regulations • R1.A Purpose These rules are intended to make online racing in LFRS more enjoyable for all and to keep competition as equal as possible. While these rules cover most of the issues you will run into while racing online, every item cannot be covered by a written rule, so if it is not explicitly approved then obviously it is not approved. • R1.B Scope The LFRS Rules section applies to each LFRS Member. Some items, obviously do no apply to each Division; you can easily determine which rules do not apply to you (if any). You are expected to know the rules; ignorance will not be tolerated as an excuse for violating a rule. • R1.C Administration and Correspondence All correspondence by The LFRS Administration to its members will remain professional in tone and manner and we ask that you extend the same courtesy. • R1.D Penalty for use of profanity and/or harassment Series Director’s or any LFRS Administrator can and will take action against any member that violates this rule before, during, and/or after an event. Disciplinary Action can include a counseling email, disqualification from a race, suspension, and/or ejection from LFRS. Section R2 - Member Requirements • R2.A Valid Email Address LFRS Members Must maintain a valid email address as part of their Member Account. Failure to do so can and will result in termination of your account and all site access as well as removal of Member Status and Registered Numbers. • R2.B Screen Name Your Screen name must include your full last name. You will not be allowed in any LFRS sanctioned event without the proper format.  R2.B.1 ID Penalties You will not be reminded to sign on with the proper name; you will be ejected from the server without warning. Drivers who login with any name besides their own are guilty of false identification and will be asked to leave the server immediately. If false driver doesn't respond to Admin, Admin has the right to remove driver from the server. In addition, all events that are found to have a falsely identified driver will result in DQ for any race result. Any and all drivers included in a false identification will be given a month suspension as well as immediate probationary status for the remainder of the season. Drivers who are found to have committed a second false identification will be removed from LFRS permanently. Section R3 - Ejections • R3.A League Officials reserve the right to eject a driver from any LFRS Sanctioned Event for conduct unbecoming of an online racer. Section R4 - Vehicle File Regulations • R4.All car files will be reviewed by an LFRS ADMIN FOR APPROVAL BEFORE submitting it to general download. • R4.C Vehicle files will be rejected if they contain the following: • R4.C.1 Profane Images and/or Text • R4.C.2 Pornographic Images and/or Text • R4.C.3 Hate Related Images and/or Text • R4.C.4 Racist Related Images and/or Text • R4.C.5 Statements/Images related to the use of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or the plants illegal drugs are derived from. • R4.C.6 LFRS Administration reserves the right to reject the paint scheme of any submitted car file. Section R5 - Car Numbers and Rules • R5.B Display of Registered Number All race vehicles must display the member's proper registered number, whether it be a single, double, or triple digit number. The size, color, and style of numbers must be adequate to permit prompt identification. The number must be located on both sides of the vehicle. The number must be located on roof and on the right rear area (right side only mandatory). Members that have registered two or three digit numbers may use a portion of that number on their vehicle but must sign into the race server with the registered number. Section R6 - Series Director Rules • R6.A Admin Controls LFRS Series Directors will not be using the in game Admin Commands. No clearing bogus black flags, regardless of how they were caused. Serve all your black flags as required by the sim. • R6.B Add/delete laps in race If booted and you rejoin, you will have to race to get any lost laps back. • R6.C Series Specific Rules Special rules may be made by LFRS Officials for an event due to extraordinary conditions. Such special rules shall apply to the conduct of that event if they are published to the web or announced via an e-mail list prior to the commencement of the event. • R7.A Server Starts and Re-starts The Series Director, at their discretion, may choose to restart the race, Qualify, Practice, or Warm-up Session if they feel the need is warranted . This decision is solely the Series Director's and is not disputable. • R7.A.1 Server Crashes -  Restart is up to Series Director discretion.  • R7.B Use of chat in-game All chat during the Qualifying Session is disallowed. Wait until the session is complete before congratulating other drivers so late qualifiers may run without distraction.
