The Arca series hits the asphalt at Nashville, We had 36 car field which led to a few cautions. But that soon worked itself out and there were plenty of green flag laps. There was plenty of side by side racing and plenty of drivers leaning on each other. In the end Josh Smathers took the win with a very fast car, David Hayes finished second and Jason Endean, Bryant Stewart, and Dwayne Hall would round out the top five. Talladega is next week so get those Superspeedway cars ready.

ARCA HAS A GOOD RUN AT KANSAS

The Arca series ended up at the Kansas Speedway this week where we opened up the race to all comers. There was some good and bad that came out of that, The good was we had more drivers, the bad was a couple of them hurt some drivers chances of a good finish. The Lightning Fast drivers showed we have what it takes to start up front and finish up front. Josh Egli would grab the pole with a great lap, but have early trouble with an outside driver. The race had a few cautions, but also had a lot of green flag laps. Bryant Stewart would go onto lead the most laps and win the event, Jim Brown, Doug Smith, Dwayne Hall and Jason Crouse would round out the top five. Good Job Stew. It's off to Nashville next week, hope to see you there.

T. Beard makes it 2 in a row at Dega!!!

The LFRS All-Pro division headed to Alabama this week for some superspeedway action after a week off. Dwayne Hall put up the top Q speed to start up front.

The racing was intense and there was a lot of close racing and seemed to be some good give and take. A few green flag stops spread the field out catching some drivers off sequence when the yellows came out. Tim Beard would battle back from a lap down and fight for the win at the end. It came down to the last lap as the field entered turn 3 at the end of a long green run. Several cars had stretched the mileage to make it, others didnt take the chance. Josh Egli leading going into turn 3 runs out of Sunoco on the final lap. Tim Beard jumps to the high line and with a nice shove from Team Bud driver Wes Howell takes the win. Good job Tim!! See you all at Richmond next week.

The CDP Arca Series rolled into Iowa last night, Jason Endean puts it on the Pole but Robin Williams stole the show, right up to where he had some communication problems on Pit road and ran out of fuel. He did lead 147 of 250 laps but ended up finishing outside the top 5. Jason Endean and Dennis Dalla ran nose to tail for the last 40 laps until the fuel bug got Dennis and Jason went on to win his 2nd race of the early season. Dwayne Hall finished 2nd and David Hayes, Jim Brown and Dennis Dalla would round out the top five. Were off to Kansas next week where we have opened up our league server to all comers. This could be very interesting.

Well we went to the Collisium of Nascar hoping for a good run at Bristol. Bristol is Bristol but Patience is Patience and courtesy is courtesy and we saw NEITHER.(Myself included) Dave Mott turned the fastest lap in practice at a 15.142 but missed the Pole this was occupied by Tim Beard with a 15.127 lap to grab the top starting spot. If you set your car up for ten lap sprints you were in good shape tonight. 22 Cautions later we did have a awesome finish between David Mott and Wes Howell for the win. With a little tap Wes was able to use the patent move to his advantage and take his first win of the 2008 season GREAT JOB WES!! Robin Williams (No not the Comedian) D Dalla Brad Wren rounded out the top four with David Mott coming in 5th after gathering it up after the Bump and Run Well done Dave. Cya all in Marty in two weeks!

Dave Parker grabbed the Pole position with Jim Brown taking the outside row. The race got off to a bad start in the first turn of the first lap when Egli got loose and spun Damaging himself and fellow drivers. We had both bad Luck and Calls for some leaving Jim Brown Dave Parker and Bryant Stewart to battle for the win. Jim Brown impressively led 111 laps out of 134 Dominating and taking his first win of the Season. Great Job Jim!!!

ALL-PRO CALIFORNIA MONDAY NIGHT

Race 2 of 36 is upon us as we visit California. While the track has stopped seeping from its seams there's still four corners which need to be navigated as a skilled Captain. Black Flag rule is in effect for this event and if you appear unable to coexist with your fellow driver you will be asked to exit the event. Most of you know what the BF rule represents and it will be discussed in full at the pre race meeting on Teamspeak. Lastly, the drivers who caused incidents last week should concentrate on running an incident free event this week. You will be expected to run a clean race. The California track we are running is in the downloads in the tracks section. Server will be open for practice at least 90 minutes before tonights event. Many guys get on earlier and feel free to use the boss password to open the server for practice, but remember to remove the boss pwd before race. The race meeting will be at 8:30 EST. Questions, concerns, please bring them up.

Season opener for Lightning Fast Racing Series!!

We had a big showing of 34 drivers for the Daytona season opener for Lightning Fast Racing. Dave Mott Jr grabbed the pole with a lap of 46.781 with Dwayne Hall taking the outside front row at a 46.791. It wasn't very long after the green flag flew we had our first yellow of the night. It was a battle between teamates until the final caution flew once again and took some members of team Bud out of the lead draft. That left clear sailing for Steve Link to push Alex Cosgrove across the Finish Line to take the win at Daytona all the way from 20th starting spot! Congrats well earned Alex! Jim Brown, Ron Charette and Doug Smith rounded out the top 5. We head to CALIFORNIA track next Monday, lets be on our toes and bring those Yellows down a few notches. Please read the forums about the Daytona race and comment where applicable.

Congrats again Alex well done!

TIM BEARD WINS BIG AT THE SHOOTOUT

The 2008 Pat Bunge Budweiser Shootout has come and gone and what a show it was. The first 20 lap segment went almost incident free until the last 300 yards when several cars fighting for the same asphalt started a chain reaction of sorts and sent cars spinning everywhere. Dean Arney would go on to win the first segment followed by the number 97, 43, 73 and the number 3 would round out the top five. Segment number 2 was a different story, with the big one early in the run which damaged a lot of cars and some mishaps under caution would leave half the field limping around early. Three cars split leading the most lap's number 20 car of Dave Parker, the 88 car of Josh Egli and the number 8 car of Wes Howell. A late caution would bunch up the field for a one lap shootout and when the smoke cleared and yes there was plenty of smoke, Dave Parker and his number 20 Toyota would take the win of segment number 2. Josh Egli would finish second, Tim Beard, Wes Howell and Ed Gibson would round out the top five. Once the points were totaled up with a 7th and 3rd place finishes Tim Beard would win the 2008 Shootout by ONE POINT over Mike Slotwinski.

Winter Series Ends At Daytona

With only 2 cautions the winter series ends as it started with tons of green flag racing. Dwayne Hall would get the pole with a fast lap of 46.799 and David Mott Jr. would sit outside row one with a lap of 46.809. Around lap 22 we had the big one with a lot of cars getting damage and a few beyond repair. It was all green flag racing from there with multible pitstops involved. In the end Tim Beard would lead the most laps with 43, but Doug Smith making all the right moves late in the race would get his first win of 2008. Beard would finish 2nd, Williams 3rd, Mickelson 4th and Hall would round out the top five.

With his 5th place finish Dwayne Hall would get enough points to hold onto the Winter Series Championship, Robin Williams finished second and Dave Parker third. Congrats to all that ran this winter as it was some great racing enjoyed by all.

Big Bang in Kansas

There was plenty of sparks on this tricky track. Dwayne Hall posted the fastest lap in Practice, but it would be his teamy Dave Parker that hit the pole speed of 29.260. This was a drivers track that took patience and a light foot. There were a few cautions for loose setups, but most stay out of the way. Team Nam and Intimidator led there share but Nam could not keep the momentum at mid point of the race. Members of team Bud were competitive all afternoon as well. Caution flew with 5 to go making it a green white checkered finish between all three teams. You could throw a blanket over the 3rd to 8th place cars coming to the line. It was Dave Parker taking his first Winter series win Well Deserved Congrats Dave!! Followed by Steve Link strong and second, Dwayne Hall third, Mike Solwinski and Robin Williams rounded out the top Five. Great Racing Guys lets keep it up!
Reports of Stewart sucker punching Egli after the race for aggressive driving are under investigation. Egli was later seen curled up in the fetal position wimpering uncontrollably. Stay tuned for Daytona next week, should be a great show.
