The LFRS drivers headed to Indianapolis Wednesday night. Ben Bando (Cavs23) came ready to race and it showed. He would take the top starting spot with a blistering lap. Robin Williams and Dwayne Hall would claim the remaining bonus points for qualifying 2nd and 3rd. With only 3 short cautions, the rest of the race would be green to the finish with two green flag pit stops. Ben Bando dominated the race leading 38 of the 75 laps and making flawless pit stops. Ben took the win making him 3 for 3 on the season. Great job Ben! Bryant Stewart came home second followed closely by teammate Robin Williams in 3rd. Dave Roden would come home 4th followed by Doug Smith 5th. Looking ahead, we head to Pocono next Wednesday and following that we are at Watkins Glen. We have some old favorites coming up including Bristol, Atlanta, Richmond, Dover, e.t.c. Hope to see you all next week!

BEN BANDO WINS 2 IN A ROW

We had another great turn out this week at Chicagoland Speedway. Robbie Shook put it on the pole with Paul Conway sitting outside row one. We had a couple of cautions but we also had green flag pit stops. The racing on the track was very competetive as the top grove was fast. A half a dozen drivers took turns leading but in the end Ben Bando made it 2 in a row. Good job Ben. Tim Kirby, Robbie Shook, Mark Satkowiak and Lee Heiligenthal rounded out the top five. Were off next week but an Indy pratice race will be up on the server this Wed night. And then we will be back to points racing July 29th at Indy. I still need some custom car skins from some drivers, if you need one painted up just ask. See ya on the track.

Wes Howell gets the win, Robin Williams gets the crown!!

The LFRS Arca All-Pro division headed South to Florida for the final race of the 2008 season. Going into the race the championship hat was already being worn by Robin Williams after a dominating season. He would put the final nail in the coffin by earning the pole starting position. Once the field took the green, it was "race on" as the field would only be slowed again by the checkard flag. After the first round of green flag stops the field would scatter just a bit. About 3/4 through the race the field bunched back up again just in time for the final pit stops. Team Bud drivers would all pit together and stay together coming out of the pits 2-3-4 behind Jim Brown. Jim would suffer damage allowing the Team Bud Trio to pass him by and fight amongst themselves for the win. With a last lap pass up high Wes Howell would get the big win followed by your 2008 Arca All-Pro Champion Robin Williams. Bryant Stewart took 3rd followed by Jim Brown and Dwayne Hall.

The points shook out like this:
1. Robin Williams 10 Poles/8 Wins
2. Dwayne Hall 1 Win
3. Doug Smith 3 Poles
4. Bryant Stewart 3 Wins
5. Wes Howell 1 Win
6. Josh Egli 1 Pole
7. Jim Brown
8. Mark Weist 1 Pole/2 Wins
9. Tom McClain
10. Bryan Corey

Great job to all who participated. We will be running open setups Monday nights through the winter for our Winter series starting next week. The 2009 LFRS All-pro Division beginning in February will be sponsored by Circle D properties with cash payouts every week. It's been a great first season with ASR, looking forward to another great one, so bring some friends and let's go racing!

THE ARCA CARS HIT THE DIRT FRIDAY NIGHT FOR CASH!

As usual there was some great racing Friday night on the dirt, Warren Pead would grab the pole with an amazing lap of 31.626. The cautions were minimal as we have grown to expect with this Sim. Warren Pead would show his speed on the dirt as he would lead most of the event but in the closing laps Dwayne Hall would get his Chevrolet out front and at least make Warren sweat a little. But when it counted Warren would go back to the front and finish the night off with a win. Warren Pead wins the top spot cash and Jack Wilson wins the random draw money. As the points lead narrows to 30 between Josh Egli and Dwayne Hall it should make our last race next week at Daytona a real nail biter. Hope to see you there.

The CDP Arca Series rolled into Alabama Friday night for some great door to door racing which this Sim can provide like no other. Dwayne Hall put his Wrangler Chevrolet on the pole with Warren Pead sitting outside row one. The only cautions were incidents entering pit road, that left for 94 laps of great racing. Dwayne Hall led 59 0f the 94 laps with help from Bryan Corey and in the end Dwayne Hall would get his first Friday night win which would really tighten up the points race. With only two races to go there's only a 45 point spread between the top two cars. Warren Pead, Doug Smith, Bryan Corey and Josh Egli would round out the top five. It's off to the dirt track of Duquoin Speedway next week which was a great show the first time around this season. Dwayne Hall wins the winning cash and Bryan Corey wins the random draw money.
It was roadie time at Lightning Fast, As usual a lot of drivers are scared off by right turns so the field was smaller than normal. Warren Pead one of our drivers from the outback put it on the pole with a great lap. As the race ran on drivers started to drop like flies as they destroyed there cars. Even after a drive through penalty warren Pead would go onto lead the most laps and get the win at the road course. Robin Williams would once again start on the pole followed by new driver Ray Doran(PRO_Mundu) and Josh Egli. Nashville provided some great side by side racing and some long green runs. After dominating all night Robin Williams would find himself 1 lap down after serving his penalty. After one more green flag stop the field shook out with Ray Doran getting the win in his first ever LFRS race.
The CDP Arca cars hit the asphalt in Iowa this week. Jason Endean would grab the pole and lead the most laps, there were more cautions then we are used to so pit strategy went out the window. Coming off turn two was a little slick at times and brought out most of the cautions. There was great side by side racing as this sim seems to always provide. But in the end Jason extended his points lead by getting the win and a big chunk of bonus points. Bryant Stewart, Bryan Corey, Josh Egli and Dwayne Hall rounded out the top five.
Dwayne Hall takes Iowa in the fixed series

The LFRS All-Pro Fixed series headed to Iowa Monday night for some fast action at Iowa. Josh Egli would take the top starting spot followed by Robin Williams and Bryant Stewart to round out the points earning starting spots.

Iowa would prove to be a great track for hard racing. With more than one fast racing groove there was a lot of side by side racing. Some drivers going toe to toe side by side for 10 laps or more before one would get an edge and take the spot. Robin Williams would be a dominate car leading the most laps. A late race caution with 10 laps remaining would mix up the field for an exciting finish. Wes Howell would restart 1st staying on the track and hoping to hold off the rest of the pack who all pitted. Dwayne Hall would make a pass for the win on the final lap proving that a 2 tire stop was just enough for the win. Wes Howell would hold on for second followed by Robin Williams, Bryant Stewart and Jim Brown to round out the top 5. Great racing all night long, especially the closing laps.

Congrats to Dwayne Hall and the #3 Wrangler Chevrolet team on getting the win!

Friday night we have the open setup Iowa race and it should be an even better race. Then next week it's back to Pocono. We had a great race there last time, so don't miss it!

Tire management could have played a key roll in the race outcome but a late caution changed the game. Bryant Stewart would go onto lead the most laps and grab another win in this series. Doug Smith, Jason Endean, Dwayne Hall and David Hayes would round out the top five finishing spots.
